It’s been a while since my last post. I do nothing everyday but work, learn, and rest.

I’ve got used to reading each day, and for my eyes’ sake I purchased the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite3 overseas, it’s way cheaper. Unlike others, I don’t think there’s much fun in reading, it’s just a way to learn new knowledge, to help me think a bit differently, to comfort me and let me feel less guilty if I did nothing meaningful all day long but at last managed to read some pages of words…

Didn’t expect so much dimission as the spring comes. One third of staff left, resulting in more and more work for me. It’s my first time experiencing colleagues leaving, kinda upset. I as well am thinking about my career recently. I thought devops seems to suit me well and thereby was learing something related to get ready for the potential interviews. However, the other day I found a book about data mining and perhaps, I thought, by studying hard I could find that sort of jobs. Tangling now…

I and my mates have migrated to Telegram from Wechat lately. It’s much simpler and securer, and helps us focus on chatting itself. Sadly only few of my friends are aware of this.

At the end of last year I became a fan of What’s Worth Buying, and I’ve been buying things at good prices ever since, such as the Kindle, a Pilot pen, an OralB electric toothbrush, and even a clothes-dryer-machine. All of them are pretty useful and helpful. I’m wondering what is the best consumption view today…

Manchester City had successfully got into the Top 8 teams in the Champions League for the first time in history, and next got to the semi-finals, and they will be competing against Real Madrid to go to the finals. How inspiring! I’m content with what we’ve achieved, but City always dreams more. C’mon City!
City are coming to China this summer, hope to get a seat to watch them play against Dortmund in Shenzhen!

We always think a lot and do a bit. The ability to execute is far more important than that to imagine. That’s what I’ve learned since I graduated, and why I always plan my day and schedule my time.
